Karuna Home is totally dependent on donations. There are plans to become a little more self-sufficient through various income generating activities but these are not yet possible in the near future. For the present, we need your support to enable us to help the disabled.

We need to raise funds to build a partially covered playground on part of the land adjacent to Karuna Home. The playground will be designed and equipped with suitable facilities for the disabled.

We also need to buy a mini bus, with a capacity for 25-30 passengers, to transport the disabled to the hospital for medical checkups and reviews, for occasional outings and for emergencies.

We also need funds to purchase medical supplies for the pharmacy and medical equipment for the Physiotherapy Treatment Room.

For the future, we would require to build a third dormitory and more living quarters for additional staff as the number of disabled at Karuna Home increases.

We also need to build a multi-function hall which could also be used for meditation and prayers.
